UPC Research, Education and Technology Transfer for the Agri-Food Sector
The Agrotech-UPC Research Centre was established in 2022 with the aim of driving projects capable of transforming the agricultural sector and advancing its efficient and effective digital transformation. Its goal is to support food production with a low carbon footprint, a low water footprint and a transition towards zero-waste products.
Agrotech-UPC brings together all UPC researchers with expertise that can be applied to the agri-food sector.
Mission
To advance interdisciplinary research across the food system, delivering effective solutions to the challenges it faces and contributing to sustainable development.
Vision
Agrotech-UPC was established to become an efficient and competitive centre capable of bringing together UPC's expertise across all areas of emerging technologies with the potential to benefit the agri-food sector.
Our ambition is to become a leading centre for agri-food research and innovation at the national, European and global levels.
