COMMSENSLAB
Remote sensing, antennas, microwaves and superconductivity group
Earth observation to mitigate the effects of climate change
A Maria de Maeztu Unit of Excellence whose core research focuses on electromagnetic engineering across a frequency range spanning from hundreds of MHz to THz and optical frequencies. This expertise enables the measurement of soil moisture, crop yields, fire ignition risk, forest health and biomass, among other parameters.
