Target audience
The project is aimed at all stakeholders in the sector, from farmers, farmers' associations, cooperatives, etc., agricultural advisory and extension services, research and innovation networks, to the plant protection product application equipment manufacturing industry, local and regional authorities and policymakers.
Project objective
To establish an innovative and active thematic network dedicated to plant protection product application technologies that promotes the exchange of new ideas and information between industry, universities and research centres, and the farming community, so that existing scientific and commercial solutions can be widely disseminated and applied, while also identifying the needs of the sector.
Project description
INNOSETA can help bridge the existing gap between technological innovation and its practical application in the field. Topics covered include plant protection product application technologies, training and technical advice. By promoting collaboration between researchers, industry, advisers and farmers, INNOSETA seeks to facilitate effective knowledge transfer and encourage the responsible and efficient use of plant protection products. It is an active tool that makes it possible to identify farmers' actual needs under their specific conditions and provide suitable, readily available solutions tailored to their circumstances.
Multidisciplinary project coordinated by the UPC, involving 15 other European partners, including universities, research centres, manufacturers' associations and farmers' associations.
