Web: : http://optima-h2020.eu/
Target audience
The project is aimed at producers of vineyards, apple orchards and carrots, including farmers, farmers' associations, cooperatives, agricultural advisory and extension services, research and innovation networks, and the crop protection equipment manufacturing industry.
Project objective
Develop intelligent plant protection product application equipment for vineyards, apple orchards and carrots that enables the safe use of these products through integrated management of all aspects related to diseases affecting these crops.
Project description
Three innovative prototypes are being developed that will contribute to ensuring that plant protection products are applied in quantities suited to the needs of vineyards, apple orchards and carrots, reducing the amounts used, improving the quality of the food produced and reducing the risk of environmental pollution.
Project funded by the European Union's Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme.
