- Technical Session
Jul 21, 2026 from 04:30 PM to 08:01 PM (Europe/Madrid / UTC200)
Agròpolis. Camí de les Filipines 110, 08840 Viladecans, Barcelona.
Agròpolis is the experimental station through which the Barcelona School of Agri-Food and Biosystems Engineering and the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (EEABB-UPC) aim to contribute to innovation in the primary sector, promoting agriculture that shapes the food landscape and providing technological solutions to adapt crop production to changing resource availability and climatic conditions. In its fourth edition, the Agròpolis Open Days will feature presentations both in the classroom and in the field, where researchers will present an overview of the main results of the research and knowledge transfer projects being carried out at the experimental station. These short presentations are intended to bring together the knowledge generated and the sector, both academic and professional. At the end of the event, there will be a tomato tasting and refreshments, creating an opportunity for attendees to exchange ideas and contribute to the design of future projects.
In this context, the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, is pleased to invite you to the fourth Agròpolis Open Days, which will take place on 21 July at 16:30 at Agròpolis – a demonstration hub for technologies applied to the agri-food sector.
Why attend?
- If you are a producer and/or a company, the event will give you access to emerging technologies and collaboration opportunities to further improve your efficiency and sustainability.
- If you represent an institution, it will help you discover how innovation can transform sector policies and practices and bring you closer to the realities of local producers.
- If you are a student or professional, you will be able to explore career development opportunities and find inspiration for a career in the horticultural sector.
