Who is the project aimed at?

Primarily civil protection and emergency management authorities, as well as the general public. The aim is to provide these groups with efficient tools to address the risks associated with extreme weather events.

Project objective

The main objective of the ANYWHERE project is to develop advanced tools to predict the impacts of extreme weather and climate events before they occur. This enables better preventive management of the effects of these events, facilitating decision-making and strengthening the ability to protect oneself and respond to risk situations.

Project description

As part of the ANYWHERE project, inLab FIB designed and developed, on behalf of the Centre for Applied Research in Hydrometeorology (CRAHI), a mobile application designed to generate specific alerts for particular locations in the event of flash flood or flooding risks. This application is a key tool for improving risk communication and enabling a faster and more efficient response to emergencies. CRAHI, which specialises in hydrometeorological forecasting, provides the scientific and technological expertise needed to address the challenges posed by these extreme events.
