Project objective
The aim of the project is to design and implement an integrated and participatory monitoring and evaluation plan for the performance and impacts of green roofs in the city of Barcelona that is economically viable and sustainable over time.Project description
The initiative is led by the University of Lleida (UdL) and involves the participation of UPC's GICITED research group and the companies Verdtical, solucions Eixverd and the Teb verd cooperative. GICITED participates in all phases of the project, from identifying the indicators to be analysed and establishing a monitoring methodology to monitoring and processing the data. The 'Verd de proximitat BCN' project will enable the city to become a pioneer, both at European and international level, in establishing monitoring and evaluation plans for local urban green spaces.
