Who the project is aimed at

The wine sector, particularly wineries, cooperatives, agricultural machinery companies, technology engineering firms and environmental sustainability managers, with the aim of improving the efficiency and sustainability of plant protection product application

Project objective

The main objective of Sensorecufit Phase 2 is to digitalise agricultural machinery in viticulture by integrating advanced sensor technologies, data management and artificial intelligence to optimise the use of plant protection products in real time and reduce their environmental impact.

Project description

Sensorecufit Phase 2, coordinated by the INNOVI cluster with the participation of Saher, the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC), Waatic, Gala Media and Recaredo, has developed a digital platform that connects sensors and data collection systems with business management software. This platform enables more precise and traceable application of plant protection products. Machinery prototypes have also been developed that can adjust application volumes in real time based on data collected in the field, optimising resources and minimising waste.

The Waatic platform has played a key role in generating Big Data and designing AI algorithms that automate processes and allow flexible adaptation to different vineyard conditions. In this way, the project promotes more efficient, competitive and environmentally friendly viticulture, establishing a new standard for the digitalisation of the sector.
