Who the project is aimed at

Companies, public administrations and research groups that need a secure and efficient environment to exchange data and develop data-driven digital solutions. It is particularly aimed at sectors such as agri-food, mobility, energy and Industry 4.0.

Project objective

To drive digitalisation by creating a multisectoral data space that enables data sharing and integration among different stakeholders, fostering innovation, co-creation and strategic decision-making based on real, validated data.

Project description

UPCxels is a multisectoral data space developed by the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC), which facilitates the secure and efficient exchange of data between companies, public administrations and research groups. It also acts as a living lab within the Agritech network to promote innovation in the agri-food sector, providing an environment for testing and validating real-time data integration.

It also serves as a technological platform for Agrixels, the UPC's agri-food data ecosystem, providing technical and operational support. In short, UPCxels is a shared space for co-creating and co-designing data-driven digital solutions applicable to key sectors such as agriculture, mobility, energy and Industry 4.0.
